Hi, I'm Mary, the artist behind WOODMIRATION. Wood has always held a special place in my heart, which inspired the name for my creative sanctuary. I find pure joy in seeking out stunning wood grains, rescuing discarded pieces and transforming them into one-of-a-kind works of art. The captivating colors and patterns found in different wood types never cease to mesmerize me. Nature has crafted incredible art within each tree, and I aim to showcase its uniqueness in every piece I create.

In addition to working with wood, I also enjoy the art of painting. Exploring different mediums and techniques allows me to express my creativity in diverse ways. Whether it's capturing the beauty of landscapes or conveying emotions through abstract compositions, painting is another avenue through which I channel my artistic passion.

Since 2016 I have been passionately sharing my knotty wood art and paintings with the world. Every encounter with a beautiful piece of wood or a blank canvas sparks new ideas for creating art that will adorn people's homes. I believe that each knot and wood grain tells its own story, much like our fingerprints, seashells or snowflakes. No two boards or paintings are alike, each carrying its own essence and energy.
